Master the art of public speaking through storytelling & pronunciation
Public speaking for executives and students for whom English is a second language
Welcome! If you are reading this page, there’s a good chance that you are a successful executive who is thriving in this country. You have a job and you are respected. However, you may not feel totally confident when speaking English, and you have so much to say. You want to give presentations and have people hang on to your every word.
Perhaps you are an international student and are seeking a job in this country. You’re nervous about job interviews, and about your communication skills in general.
You have both come to the right place.
Most public speaking coaches work with native English speakers on their public speaking. Speech pathologists often work with non-native English speakers on accent reduction. I am one of the few communications coaches in the Melbourne and Geelong area who specialises in the needs of people like you, for whom English is not your mother tongue.
Together, we will use a unique, targeted approach to help you become great public speaker. The three parts are:
- Your pronunciation
- Your voice
- Storytelling (we’ll get to that in a bit)
You speak English fluently, but you feel that people sometimes do not understand what you are saying. Together we will identify those sounds that give you difficulty.
Does your voice communicate all that you have to offer? Great speakers use their voice like they use an instrument. We’ll work on your voice as if it’s a violin as we practice your intonation, pitch, and other crucial vocal tools.
Just as important: I am committed to making you a great storyteller.
Your success in public speaking through storytelling
The world’s best communicators are all great storytellers. They understand how to use stories to create a powerful bond with the audience.
I will work with you to craft your story to work its magic on your audience.
